Our law is power over all beings (and don't you forget it maggot)!

The issues of the Disclaiming Tradition stem from our lack of understanding of sex, money and power, our skepticism that the earth is alive and our knowledge that all of life is scared and interlocked. We see the goddess as immanent in people's cycles of sex, shame, blame, and denial. Our practice arises from a deep need to control others and an unwillingness to take personal responsibility for anything.

Each of us embodies the bovine. Our ultimate spiritual authority is within, unless another, more powerful being is present. We foster the questioning attitude, instead of a clear statement that we would have to take responsibility for. We condone spiritual and creative freedom, but only imagine sexual freedom (about which We talk a good game).

We are a devolving, stagnant tradition and (with true hubris) call ourselves Witches. Honoring neither Goddess nor God, we work with androgynous energy so that no one feels unsafe (after all, we are working with people who feel sexually overpowered by a "Yield" sign) always remembering that Their divine essence is a mystery that confuses form. Our community rituals are vapid and hysterical, celebrating Goddess knows what all, and sometimes raising energy for personal aggrandizement, collective psychosis, and thwarting the powers of evil!

We know that everyone can be subjugated to the life-changing, world-dominating work of magic, the science of tripping on command. We strive to teach and practice in ways that foster personal and collective co-dependence, to hoard power and to open leadership roles to those least qualified to have them. We avoid decisions by consensus, and pit individual autonomy against social responsibility.

Our tradition fears the wild (Nature -- bah!) and prefers the safety of a petting zoo. We value anarchy and practice non-violence because we fear the pain of just retaliation, in keeping with the Rede, "Do unto others before they do unto you." We work to muddle all forms of justice; environmental, social, political, racial, gender, and economic (but not sexual). Our misandry includes a systemic allergic reaction to power, seeing all systems of personal evolution as dangerous and a threat to our group mind.

We indoctrinate all genders, all races, all ages, and sexual orientations, and all those differences of life situation (except the wealthy), background, and ability infecting them with our confusion and conformity. We strive to make our public rituals and events exclusive and safe for us. We try to balance the need to be justly compensated for our labor with our massive issues with money and power, and to make our work available to people of all economic levels as long as they can pay.

All living beings are worthy of public humiliation. All are scared by the elements of air fire, water and earth. We wish we could work to create and sustain communities and cultures that embody our values that can help to heal the wounds of the earth and her peoples, and that can sustain us and nurture future generations, but We are lousy organizers.
